How we help

Our activities in Germany to support people in the South Kivu and North Kivu provinces of the DR Congo:

Sewing Machine Challenge

Each year we collect up to 300 sewing machines. At joint action weekends, volunteers in the Erzgebirge region professionally restore them and prepare them for use in our project areas.

Donations for education

We collect targeted donations to support everyday school life, including books, learning materials, sportswear and musical instruments, thereby sustainably improving learning conditions for children and young people.

Vocational training

To promote vocational training in the project region, we collect tools and machinery for skilled trades, helping young people acquire practical skills and build their own future prospects.

Funding our projects

To implement our projects in the DR Congo, we raise financial donations used directly for organising and carrying out aid transports or for funding the projects themselves.

Public relations

We present the association and its projects through lectures (including at public institutions such as libraries and schools) and participate in sustainability and development initiatives in the region.

Project preparation

In Germany we handle the technical and organisational planning of projects such as solar and IT equipment for schools and hospitals, and support our partners in implementing the projects on the ground.
